Last updated: 29 April 2026 · Effective: 29 April 2026
1. Acceptance
These Terms govern your use of the Founder Mode website at foundermode.network, our iOS and macOS applications, and the Founder Mode Discord community bot (collectively, the "Service") which are operated by Founder Mode Network ("Founder Mode", "we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this minimum age and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. Your account
- You must provide accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials and devices secure, and for all activity under your account.
- One account per person; do not share credentials.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these Terms.
4. The Service
Founder Mode is a platform for founders to track ideas, run projects, collaborate, and use AI tooling. It includes a website, native iOS and macOS apps, and a Discord community bot. We may change, add, or remove features at any time.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Some features require a paid plan. Paid plans are processed by our payments provider and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Taxes may apply based on your billing location. Refund policies are described at the time of purchase.
6. In-app purchases (iOS)
If we introduce in-app purchases in the iOS app, those transactions will be processed through Apple's StoreKit and additionally governed by Apple's End User Licence Agreement. Apple handles payment, refunds, and renewals for in-app purchases.
7. Your content and licence
You retain ownership of the content you post on the Service, including ventures, posts, direct messages, comments, and uploaded files ("Your Content"). You grant Founder Mode a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and operationally process Your Content for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you and other users you have shared it with. This licence includes the AI features you trigger and the technical operations necessary to run the Service (backups, indexing, search, moderation). We do not claim ownership of Your Content.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
- Post content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or that you do not have the right to share.
- Distribute malware, run security probes against the Service, or attempt to break authentication or rate limits.
- Scrape the Service at scale or use automated means to extract other users' data.
- Impersonate others, including doxxing real-world identities without consent.
- Use AI features to generate content that violates this section.
- Interfere with the Service for other users.
We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate this section.
9. AI features
AI outputs are generated by machine-learning models and may be inaccurate, biased, out-of-date, or unsafe. You must verify AI outputs before relying on them, especially for legal, financial, medical, or safety-critical decisions. AI features rely on third-party processing partners as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Discord community
Joining the Founder Mode Discord server additionally subjects you to Discord's own Terms of Service and our community guidelines. We may remove you from the Founder Mode Discord server, or restrict bot interactions, for breach of these Terms or our community guidelines.
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms or for any legal, security, or operational reason. The effect of termination on Your Content is described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Founder Mode is not a provider of legal, financial, tax, medical, or other professional advice. Any decision you make based on content from the Service or AI outputs is at your own risk.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
- Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) EUR 100.
This limitation applies to the extent permitted by applicable consumer-protection law; mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Founder Mode harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you post or actions you take that breach these Terms or applicable law.
15. Apple-specific terms (iOS)
The following terms apply to your use of the Founder Mode iOS app, in addition to the sections above. They are required by Apple's Developer Program License Agreement.

- Founder Mode, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the iOS app, including product-liability claims, claims that the iOS app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims under consumer-protection or similar legislation.
- Founder Mode, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of any third-party claim that the iOS app or your use of it infringes intellectual-property rights.

- Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you with respect to the iOS app.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
